In September of this year, the Northwest Oilfield resumed work and production. Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, we overcame numerous difficulties and provided corrosion inhibitors and drilling fluid additives to the Northwest Oilfield during the production process. 

Under typical conditions, steel pipes used for oil pipes generally develop rust both inside and outside. If not cleaned, the rust will contaminate the hydraulic oil, affecting the normal operation of hydraulic equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to remove the rust inside the oil pipes through acid pickling.

Acid pickling can also remove rust from the outer surface of the oil pipes, which helps in applying anti-rust paint to the exterior, providing long-term corrosion protection for the pipes. Acid pickling is generally done using an acid solution with a concentration of 0% to 15%. 

Youzhu company has received high recognition from the Northwest Oilfield Management Center by providing corrosion inhibitor products for oil pipe cleaning projects, drilling fluid formulation projects, and equipment maintenance projects.

Acidizing corrosion inhibitors must be able to mitigate corrosion in both low carbon alloy steels and high chrome steels, and be stable in high acid concentrations and under high reservoir temperatures.

Additionally, in less severe conditions (e.g., lower acid concentration and/or lower temperatures), the corrosion inhibitors can also be added directly to corrosive treating fluids to protect equipment.
