What we need to formulate your ROP enhancer?
Fluid formulations? Water-based? Oil-based? (To confirm the following: water-soluble/oil-soluble, SG/viscosity — high-density drilling fluids require high viscosity to match flowability and sand-carrying capacity — and whether there are any incompatible materials to prevent foiling/emulsification), along with information such as fresh/salty water, pH value, high calcium/magnesium concentration, etc.
Temperature/pressure? Is high-temperature stability required? For example, at what temperature, with how much additive, and over what period of time is a specific reduction in torque expected?
High-salinity environments? High-salinity environments may cause salting-out, demulsification, or competitive adsorption effects, which can impact the rheology and filtration properties of the drilling fluid. 【Therefore, ROP enhancers generally contain functional groups capable of forming strong chemical adsorption or coordination bonds with metal surfaces.】
