High-Temperature Temporary Diverting Agent TDA-250
Product introduction
Racturing and acidizing, as the key technologies for conventional oilfield stimulation and for the commercial development of unconventional oil and gas resources, are of significant interest to oil companies and governments. However, conventional fracturing and acidizing treatment cannot meet the requirements of diverting re-fracturing for old wells and increasing SRV for the development of unconventional oil and gas resources. In consequence, temporary plugging and diverting stimulation technology (TPDST) have been developed.
Acidizing has been widely used as an important measure for stimulation of carbonate reservoirs. The key of acidizing technology lies in whether it can make the whole reservoir distribute acid evenly, relieve the pollution near the wellbore zone, and construct a new circulation channel between reservoir and wellbore, so as to improve the production of oil and gas wells.Different acidizing technologies have been tested in oilfields. Temporary diverting acidizing technology has been studied and applied because of its easy operation,
cleanliness and complete degradation, and no pollution to reservoirs.Temporary Diverting agent TDA-250 provides temporary diversion to ensure complete stimulation of all perforation clusters and targeted zones. TDA-250 diverting agent is effective in high-temperature hydraulic fracturing and re-fracturing, acid fracturing and matrix acidizing applications, and provides both near-wellbore and far-field diversion in sandstone and carbonate formations. For simplified application and logistics, TDA-250 can be pumped in variety of carrier fluids such as slick water, gelled acid, linear gels and viscoelastic surfactants.
TDA-250 provides enhanced near-wellbore diversion in both cased-hole and open-hole applications using tri- model particle size distribution . TDA-250 is comprised of a mixture of large robust particles as well as smaller particles, is designed to bridge across perforations, wormholes, and fractures, while minimizing the permeability of the diverter pack. A smaller bi-modal distribution of TDA-250 can be pumped to provide a far-field diversion .
TDA-250 is fully degradable and soluble in both hydrocarbons and water-based fluids while the rate of dissolution is sufficiently low to allow mixing and pumping without degradation of theTDA-300. TheTDA-250 is engineered for use in applications ranging from 250° to 300°F.
Designed for use with stimulation treatments such as hydrochloric acid (HCI), solvent systems, and hydrofluoric acid (HF) for sandstone diversion applications.
